In 1978, the artist Colin Greenly and I moved from our rented New York City loft to this abandoned 100 year old dairy barn with 7 additional smaller barn buildings. After years of full time renovation and restoration of the main barn, we were able to move in. We continued to renovate the other barns, rebuild the stone walls, and create new gardens.

In 2015, Brian Auwarter and I began to renovate the unfinished part of the barn into a sculpture studio for Brian. We added new storge areas by renovating some of the existing buildings and built a new garage and welding shed. We did extensive excavation and add new retaining walls to accomodate the new structures and his large scale sculptures.
